My goal as an educator is to help learners see that they are capable of success with the right attitude and preparation. I will share with students key strategies to overcome difficult obstacles in GP (such as how to deconstruct a question in GP paper 1, how to produce a well-argued essay, and how to tackle different question types to excel in GP paper 2 etc). My lessons put emphasis on questioning and reflection, so that my students graduate not only with knowledge to perform well in GP, but also the ability to think about issues critically and make good decisions for themselves in their lives, careers, and relationships. I have six years of experience tutoring GP, and my past students came from schools including RJC, AJC, and YJC. They have scored As and Bs at the GCE "A" Levels.

I specialise in teaching sciences at secondary level. I have taught students from various background, ranging from Express/N(A)/N(T) streams to students under IP and IB programmes. While I may not be NIE-trained, my teaching techniques and pitching are customised according to different students' learning needs. Hence, all of my students found that they are able to connect with me better and could understand the concepts better than in school. Many of them who came to me with borderline passes or even failures eventually made it to good JCs (e.g. HCI) and I'm proud of them! And many happy parents also referred me to continue to teach the student's siblings and relatives. During lessons, I will help students to unpack the difficult concepts and summarise the key concepts of each topic into just one A4 page that students can use to quickly revise prior to tests/exams. All of my past students have found these notes to be very useful and have helped them to excel in their exams. I will also teach my students some useful studying technique and exam skills, which over my tutoring experience I found that this is the factor that determine how well the student does academically. Many of my past students came to me with borderline passes and some failures, but they all eventually obtained good results to get into the school of their choice!

I have taught Physics, Chemistry, combined science (Phy/Chem) and lower secondary science to students from all levels (Sec 1 to 5) as well as Primary 1-6 Maths & Science in home tuition. I am now teaching in a tuition centre and also fulltime home tutoring. I have more than 15 years experience. Being a teacher has acquired me with skills and knowledge to deliver good lessons and also cater to the learning needs of the students. I will also provide worksheets to my students. Familiar with both N and O level examinations.
