I am a Full-Time tutor specializing in Secondary A/E Maths, Chemistry, and Physics. I have around 15 years of full time tutoring experience, both privately and in tuition centers. I have two degrees; one is Bachelor of Business Administration from NUS. The other is Bachelor of Aeronautics Engineering, followed by Masters in Aeronautics Engineering. The Engineering Degree is a full-time 4 year course from Leeds University in UK. I achieved 1st class in my Masters. My forte is in helping students improve from poor grades to at least above a score of 65 within 3 months, as evidenced by 80% of my current pool of students. I have many track record, these are a couple: - student achieved A1 from ‘fail’ for Additional Mathematics & Combined Physics and Chemistry in GCE O-Level examination. - Homeschool candidate who attend online schools achieve A1 for both O-level A and E-maths. - taught a NA girl from C in Psle to doing express E-Maths, and NA A-maths. She scored A1 for NA maths, A2 for express E-Maths and B3 for NA A- maths. My teaching style involves clear explanation, topic-by-topic summary, strategies in achieving good grades and most importantly a fun and lively atmosphere. This is coupled with regular discussions with parents/ students on how to further develop the students’ potential. Students enjoyed the varied lessons, stimulating questions and career guidance. I enjoy guiding students in harnessing their talents, as well as pointing out their limitations and study pitfalls. I encouraged them to overcome their limitation in order to achieve a breakthrough in their studies. I do not use mobile phones during lessons and prefer students not to. I give homework regularly and will feedback to parents when student do not complete homework repeatedly. I do not cancel classes and usually commit long term until students finish O-level. My longest assignment last for 4 years (Secondary 1 to 4).

I hold a masters in special education and I have taught in Catholic JC and Orchid Park Secondary school before becoming a full time tutor. I have 10 tutees at the moment who have followed me for 4-5 years. Mostly in sciences for primary to IB/A levels. I have 2 IB kids for chem in ACS Independent and 1 in RJC and another in CJC I was also teaching at dimensions International college, covering their Igcse syllabus leading to IB. I've been teaching for 12 years and what started as a tutor for a neighbour blossomed into a passion to support students with various needs. I've also seen students through IB and I have experience with the local syllabus as well. I use a mix of materials to cater to students' needs and to expose them to different genres of work and questions. I am teaching a mix of local and international students currently and I believe in teaching the student to recognise the skills required to answer questions. My current students (2 of them in ACSI (from China) has managed to score top in class for chemistry for 3 years. We worked together to tackle questions meticulously and we spend immense amount of time to get the basics right so that application is not of an issue when faced with different questions. Another student in RJC managed to pass and promote to JC2 because chemistry was her worst subject and the school required her to pass it to be promoted. Another student in CJC got A in chemistry for O levels and we got into CJC after a year of hard work. Education is the key to change and every child is capable of mastering that key

I have tutored secondary school maths, primary school maths and science. For secondary school math, the student improved from F9 to C6. For primary school, the student improved from a 4/15 to a 12/15 in the math WA and as for science WA, he managed to secure a pass from a fail I have taught 3 five year old how to read for about a year; since then, they are now able to properly break words down and read them.
