I have tutored over 3 sec 4 amath students and all have attained excellent grade improvement from F9 to B3/A2 within a few months. I am currently teaching 2 H2 math students that have achieved significant grade improvement from fail to B within 2 months and had a past student who graduated with had significant grade improvement from E to B within a few months as well. My students' past results: A for E and Additional Maths (student from Nan Chiau High) A for E and Additional Maths (student from Victoria High) - from consistent failing to B for Prelim Maths and N level (within a term), sec 4 NA girl in Anderson Sec - students under my care will see improvements in understanding and grades - many of my 1:1 sec students are follow ups when i first taught them at primary level.

I have 3 years of experience teaching for lower sec and upper sec. Almost all of my students have drastically improved their grades after tutoring them, with many seeing results jump from D7/F9 > B3/A2. I believe that I learn through my own mistakes that I made when I was a student and I teach current students how to avoid those mistakes that I made. Building a strong foundation is so important and a lot of people tend to miss this. I'll ensure that your child grasps a strong hold of the necessary skills and knowledge before advancing no matter how much time it takes. I am very deeply passionate about science and math and strongly believe in using this knowledge and passion to help others.To me,it has always been a great joy helping others in science and math and inspiring them through it and I would love to start making a difference in someone's life through my passions.As for my teaching approach,it will be based strongly on principles for effective learning.I place a strong emphasis on grasping fundamental concepts of a subject.This is of paramount importance for that to me is the first step for a student to progress well in his or her studies.After grasping the fundamentals,I will then guide the student in applying those concepts to questions and let them have ample question practice.This is to ensure they really are able to cover all aspects of doing well as much as possible as the more practice one has the better one will do.This is because it will train them to think the way exam questions would like them to think and fosters connections in the brain on thinking skills that increases the likelihood of them doing well.Lastly,I will also attempt to help students allocate enough time for studies as this allows them to get frequent enough contact with the material and this principle of repetition in studies is a psychologically proven way of getting good at studies.As for experience wise,I have tutored my cousin and my sister on an ad-hoc basis.I hope to be able to tutor and make a difference in the lives of others too.

I have been tutoring Principles of Accounts for more than 15 years for N, O & A level students and ACCA students. My approach is to explain the accounting concepts and transactions with logic behind them so as to make the students grasp them easily. Study materials will be provided. Furthermore, I conduct "Basics of finance for non-finance people" training using innovative interactive board game developed by me for SME owners. It is well received and appreciated by participants. I am adopting the same board game for explaining the accounting concepts to those students who are new to accounting. I personally taught ACCA "Applied Knowledge" level all the three subjects for my son who is now doing "Skills Level" exams of ACCA (UK). I am also currently teaching my daughter for "FA2 - Maintaining Financial Records" in "Foundation in Accountancy - FIA level" of ACCA while teaching another student "FA1-Recording Financial Records of FIA level of ACCA" I got Credit Pass in Association of Accounting Technicians UK & 1st class in Bachelor of Commerce degree.
