Education: Scored an A* in IGCSE and A Level Chemistry. Graduated from NUS Life Science, Bachelor of Science (Hons) in 2021. Currently pursuing postgraduate studies at NTU. Teaching experience: Have 6 years of experience tutoring students from various levels, and I specialize in IGCSE and IB sciences. Have worked both in a centre and as a private, freelance tutor. 1) Tuition centre experience: From 2019 to 2020. Tutored senior level students from various schools including Hwa Chong and ACS for IGCSE sciences, including chemistry. Students saw an increase in scores of about 20%. 2) Private tutor: From 2020 to present. Tutored an IGCSE combined science student for 8 months before the exam (in 2021), resulting in a final score of A* (student commonly scored C before). Student taking combined sciences (including chemistry) scored a 9/9 (Pearson's IGCSE syllabus). Currently tutoring one student for IB HL Chem.

I believe my experience as a freelance home tutor having worked also in student care centres and tuition centres allow me to design interactive learning sessions. I've coached both local and international students and this provided me with enriching opportunities of understanding the diverse learning challenges of students. Hello! My name is Lexi and I'm 20 this year, a fresh grad from TP Law. I have one year of experience teaching Primary 1 to 3 students. After giving tuition (English) to a primary 3 girl, her grades improved from C5 to A2. This also includes my experience in coaching my two younger brothers in their studies at home throughout their primary and secondary school phase.
