I have been teaching students from Nursery to Primary 6 for more than 15 years I teach English, Maths and Science. Students have improved from a failure grade to A in less than one year. Students have also improved from 70 marks to 92 marks or more in 6 months to a year. I am also able to teach phonics and students who were not able to read or spell initially had improved to become confident readers and spellers in a few months. For English, I am able to teach creative writing, oral techniques, grammar etc Parents have found me to be responsible, committed and patient. I have experience preparing students for their PSLE examinations.

Currently pursuing a PhD in Bioengineering (NTU) Previously finished a Bachelors in Biological Sciences with 2nd major in Food Science and Technology I taught Biology at Learners lodge (2023-2024) and am currently a tutor at Metris Academics (2025-present) I have been teaching for 10+ years and provide my own notes to my students. Teaching about 15 JC and secondary school students who started at different levels (some were initially weak while some were relatively stable already) I teach mostly H2 Biology and O level Biology (Track record of at least a B for A levels if they start before March of J2 year) Some past results 2020: 'O' levels - C6 to A2, B4 to A1, A2 to A1 'A' levels - C to A 2021: 'O' levels - C5 to B3, C6 to A2 'A' levels - E to B, D to A 2022: currently still teaching 'A' level prelims - D to A My philosophy is that every student is different and everyone learns differently. I try to use different methods of approaching the same syllabus to see how each student can benefit from learning Biology and even enjoy it. Biology can be more than just purely memorizing your textbook.
