I am a Maths and Chinese language tutor. I am a native Chinese and studied in Singapore since young. For maths, my students are from: MapleBear Preschool - K1 and K2 Paya Lebar Methodist Girls - P3, A Zhong Hua Pri - P5, A CHIJ St Nicholas Girls - S1, B I tailor my lessons to the individual needs and learning styles of each of my students, and use a variety of teaching methods, including games, role-playing, and multimedia resources, to keep things interesting and engaging. Most of my kids are Primary level which I find it most enjoyable in teaching as it helps to build kids' passion for Maths and Chinese language and make the learning experience fun and engaging for them. I have a strong passion for teaching and sharing my knowledge of the Chinese language and culture with others. In addition to my language skills, I have also immersed myself in Chinese culture and history, which has deepened my understanding of the language and helped me to develop effective teaching strategies. As a tutor, I am committed to helping my students achieve their language goals, whether that be improving their speaking skills, mastering Chinese grammar and vocabulary, or simply gaining a greater appreciation for Chinese culture. Most of my experience is 1 to 1 teaching as I can highly personalized and effective way to help students achieve their language goals. Which allows the me tailor their lessons to the specific needs and learning styles of each student, providing a more individualized and effective learning experience.

I have two years of tutoring experience, mainly in Math and English at the Primary and Secondary level. Under my guidance, my P6 student has brought up his Math grade from a C to an A in PSLE, and his English from a B to an A. I also had a Secondary One student (in Sembawang Sec) who managed to improve from an F9 to a C5 in Math. I also have experience in teaching students in Primary and Secondary level, mainly due to helping younger family members. Most of them can see improvement in their grades and a stronger understanding of the subject. I have also conducted group study sessions back in my JC times, and improved our grades altogether. For my students, I am able to gather material for them to work on and refer to, in hopes that they see that their tutor is putting in work, they will be motivated to do the same.
