During my time as a tutor, I have had the opportunity to work with students from a variety of backgrounds and skill levels. I believe that each student is unique, with their own learning style and strengths, and my goal as a tutor is to help them achieve their academic and personal goals. I take a patient and personalized approach to tutoring, working with each student to identify their strengths and weaknesses, and tailoring my teaching methods to their individual needs. I also strive to create a positive and encouraging environment, where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and taking risks in their learning. As a tutor, I had the privilege of witnessing a remarkable transformation in my students. Such a case was when I first started working with this student. They were struggling to keep up in class and were consistently earning grades that were below their potential. However, after just one month of consistent tutoring, the student's performance drastically improved, and they were able to improve by two whole grades in their IGCSE examination (o-level alternative). I am proud to say that I am currently teaching a diverse group of students, each with unique academic needs. One of my students is in P3 Maths, another is in IB Math SL, and my third student is in Sec 3 Combined Physics/Chemistry. Despite the different levels and subjects, my classes are consistently effective, thanks to my adaptability and ability to teach successfully. I’ve been a part time tutor since 17 and after I graduated from NUS Pharmacy, I took on the role of a full time tutor. I have managed to help an NA student improve till she was able to take express math and her most recent N level and O level results are grade 1 for amath and science and A2 for emath. I have many other students as well who all managed to attain their goals. My favourite subject to teach would be Amath, but I am very well versed in all math and science subjects since I was a double math and triple science student and has been consistently tutoring those subjects as well.
