I have experience tutoring both malay and non-malay primary level students who were struggling in Malay or are looking to score highest AL grade for PSLE. The students I handled who struggled in Malay have improved by several marks in the in-class assignments after tutoring them the basics of Malay. Depending on what they need help on, I leave the students to ask me questions so that they can take more ownership of their learning, which I encourage them to do. This would be more for upper primary students who are the age where they are going into their pre-teen phases. I prepare lesson plan for each student in a Google Word document every weekly and this is shared with parents - to keep everyone in the loop. This helps me to better prepare lesson plans that are most suitable to the student depending on what they're good/not so good at. Aside from this, I have done volunteer work for refugee children as well, where I have taught group of children Math, Science and English with some Malay for translation purposes. With that, I am fond of giving my ultimate best in my tutoring regardless of where they come from. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts (with Hons) from NTU and specialized in Interactive Media in a prestigious art school in Singapore. With that, I am willing to tutor Art as well. Currently tutoring upper primary Malay, especially P6 students taking PSLE. My rates are between $35- $60/hr.

I’m currently studying in jurong pioneer JC arts stream! so i do have alot of experience writing long essays in my chosen course Last year I gave my Sec 3 cousin Amath tutoring and his grades improved from D7 to B3 in 6 months! In addition to that, I gave chinese tuition to my younger cousin during my 2 months break! I am great with handling kids as i would say I am quite patient and engaging! Personally, my teaching style would be more of the fun and engaging side rather than tossing all the informations to the student at once. I believe with the right way of teaching which is to focus on the area of weaknesses, the student, he/she will definitely improve in no time!

I have been teaching actively since A levels, my students range from primary school to lower secondary school. My best subjects are Chinese and Math and I am very familiar with the syllabus. I've taught a P6 girl who couldn't focus before, suspected but not officially diagnosed ADHD. Currently I'm teaching a p4 student for all 4 subjects. I will provide practice papers and materials to help students understand concepts. I will also go through school resources and let them understand from the marker's point of view and what the school is trying to test, instead of just spamming questions. I hope that students can learn efficiently and understand concepts.
