I hold a Bachelor of Health Care degree from Centria University of Applied Sciences, Finland. Additionally, I have obtained a Singapore local diploma in Chinese Language Teaching (Mandarin) (460 hours) and the International Baccalaureate Educator Certificate for the Primary Years Programme (IBEC-PYP). In terms of language proficiency, my Mandarin is quite standard, as evidenced by my LEVEL II, GRADE A achievement in the Spoken Mandarin Proficiency Test held by China's National Language and Writing Work Committee. I have a lot of experience in working with different age groups and proficiency levels. I excel in creating a welcoming, comfortable learning environment that fosters positive student participation. I used to work at Xuelin Learning Hub, and gained extensive experience teaching students of various levels (N2-S1) following the Singapore syllabus. I have one year experience in teaching my juniors in my high school. I taught a 8th grader and a couple of 11th graders in the academic year 2022-2023. I taught the 8th grader mathematics and science. Her grades improved from D to A. She also became her cohort topper for the subject Mathematics. She averaged an A grade in the subjects that i taught. I taught the 11th graders Mathematics only and they have scored As in their 11th grade final examinations in maths.
