Despite lacking formal teaching experience at an established institution, I have been actively engaged in instructing my sisters' friends. They regularly visit after school, seeking assistance with their studies, particularly in the area of POA. It brings me immense satisfaction to know that even the smallest support can make a meaningful differenceg. Particularly during exam seasons, I dedicate time to reviewing POA concepts with them and addressing any questions or concerns they may have. I am also currently teaching a Tamil for a P6 student. I help to print notes for her to improve her knowledge on certain topics.

I have been a preschool teacher for about 5 years (2017 -2022). I have been tutoring since end of 2022 to current. I included phonic awareness in my lesson plans as a preschool teacher and enjoy reading with children. When I introduce words and sounds I relate the meaning of these words to things the children come across in their daily life. I encourage children to sound words as it gives them confidence to identify words and read. I taught children from N2 - K2 levels. I have been tutoring Nursery 2 to Primary 2 students for English and Mathematics as well. I teach sentence structuring, grammar, story writing ,vocabulary and etc for English. I teach measuring, counting, addition, subtraction, problem solving and etc for Mathematics.

Tutoring experience: 6 years experience in tutoring olvl+alvl math. For 2026 academic year I am currently tutoring 8 students in emath+amath. For previous years, yearly I tutor approximately 15 students in emath+amath, and 3 students in alvl H2 math. All my students stick with me through the entire academic year. Student grade Improvements(recent 2 years): My 2025 olvl students grade improvement from Sec 3 EOY to prelims: Some went from C5 to A2 , F9 to B3, B4 to A1. All other students have at least a 2 grade jump improvement. My 2024 olvl students grade improvement from Sec 3 EOY to olvl results: all 5 of them went from F9 to B3, C6 to A2, C5 to A2, C5 to A1, B4 to A1, in both amath and emath. All other students have at least a 2 grade jump improvement. Teaching method: I have my own set of self compiled and nicely typed out topical worksheets which I will use to go through in class and set homework for. The questions are all handpicked by me from top olvl schools prelim papers. I have a large and recent collection of past year prelim papers from different schools. I am a very patient tutor, and I believe strongly in proper mastery and understanding of each topic content. I am a full-time tutor who works 7 days a week, if I am not having lessons I am preparing for lessons/creating worksheets, so I can guarentee I will be very committed towards helping all my students in their academic journey. My own academic Results: I consistently obtain the highest grade for all mathematics subjects (lower sec math, Emath, Amath, H2 math) from Sec1 all the way to JC2. I also consistently obtain raw mathematics exam scores that are close to full marks or even full marks. I was also top 5% in grades for mathematics in Dunman High School.
