I am an 19-year-old A level graduate with a strong passion in academics and aim to help others strengthen their academic performance. I have had 2 years of teaching experience, both in-person and online, to Primary 6 students. (From experience in tuition centre) Recently taught in 2023: taught a P4 Student Science & English taught a P2 Student English (With Dyslexia) 1 Year teaching experience at Tutelage Learning Centre. From Primary 2 English, Upper Primary Creative Writing, Primary 4&5 Sciences and Lower Secondary Mathematics. Daily classes with about 3 students per class. Ms Lynn Yen offered me the job as she believes I can interact and communicate well with the children. I go to classes prepared with extra materials which will boost the students learning and understanding of the topic. Also well-versed with lesson plans, as i do that for every lesson throughout the year that i've spent teaching at the tuition centre. Hence, parents can expect well planned and guided lessons, which will have a structure to follow thanks to the lesson planning, 1 Year teaching experience doing private tution for the year 2023. Taught 1 P4 student science and english and another P2 student, english. I was able to cope well with my studies whlist juggling between these 2 classes. P4 Student showed improvement in his Science papers. Performing well in his section C as that was his weak point.

Learning Maths and English can be a daunting and challenging experience. You may often find yourself being asked by your teacher to think deeper, or even find yourself being introduced to new equations and concepts that will leave you confused. Have no worries, with my help and guidance, you will find yourself acing your test and exams in a breeze! About me: NUS Law undergraduate. Prior to this, I graduated with an IB Diploma from ACS (Independent), attaining perfect scores in English, Econs, Math, Chemistry and Physics. I first started providing tuition to supplement my income, but very quickly found that students were responsive to my teaching. 7 years later, and I am still providing tuition with the aim of helping students achieve their goals. My teaching style: I like to spend the first half of the lesson explaining difficult concepts and introducing students to new concepts. I then supplement the first half of the lesson by going through practice questions in the second half of the lesson. I believe that this method provides the student with the opportunity to lay a strong foundation so that they can build from there. Ultimately, I want my students to walk away from the class with all their doubts cleared, as well as a greater appreciation for what they are learning. After all, a happy student is a motivated student. My achievements: - Brought a Secondary 2 student from a B3 in Maths to an A1. - Brought a Secondary 4 student from failing Maths to an A2 for his GCE 'O' Levels. - Brought a Secondary 4 student from failing Science in his prelims to a B3 for his GCE 'N' Levels. - Brought a Secondary 4 student from failing English to an A1 for his GCE 'O' Levels.
