I have taught N(A) Math and English to a student from when he was Secondary 2 until Secondary 4. His grades improved from F9 to B3. I have also taught a Secondary 2(NA) class for the Mendaki tuition scheme. My students who were previously failing, managed to pass after I taught them. I have also taught Malay to a Filipino student from Primary 1 to currently, Primary 4. He has picked up the language and is passing with good grades, from not knowing the language at all when I first taught him.

Self-description
I have graduated from Ngee Ann Poly with a diploma in Early Childhood Education. With the knowledge gained from my years of study, I am able to manage children's behaviours and create+implement lesson plans.
In addition, I am currently an undergraduate at the Singapore Institute of Management (SIM) under the University at Buffalo, the State University of New York. My preferred teaching subject would be English, in academic writing for primary school children and also science.

Teaching experience
I am new to teaching children in primary schools. However, i have assisted briefly in Singapore American School (SAS) as a teacher aid, which allows me to familiarize myself with the primary school setting.
In addition, i am passionate to teach and impart my knowledge to these students in helping then achieve greater academic success through tutoring.

Teaching method
Tailored to suit each students academic needs, each lesson is approximately 1.5 hours in duration. A session consists of one-on-one tutoring which covers various methods of teaching based on the subject specified. Each lesson is focused on allowing the student ample time and to absorb and learn new ideas and concepts through teacher facilitation.
