I've been teaching since 2015. I teach mainly pri-sec sch math and chi. Some of the schools I’ve taught are: Nan Chiau primary, Compassvale pri, Sengkang pri, Montfort pri, tao nan pri, horizon pri, Pasir Ris pri, hougang pri bowen sec, mayflower sec, Sengkang sec, Compassvale sec. Initial scores: borderline fail to only getting 20-30s. Improvement - 2 grade improvement. I have helped some who failed to get As and Bs as well. In terms of tutoring style, I don’t like to give homework to students. Most practices will be done in class; students just revise outside of class. But of course this can be changed depends on student/parent preference. I like to build good relationship with students which will help improve interest and performance in subjects. I have experience teaching extremely weak students, mild adhd, autism etc. Lesson delivery based on student’s learning ability and reception. I make it a point to engage parents on their child’s learning as well. Most of my students in fact come from referrals after my initial student, a testimony that they were satisfied with my performance In terms of online lesson, I have experience conducting lesson over zoom and Google meets

I have been a classroom teacher for the past 7 years. I was trained to teach English and Mathematics at upper primary level while studying in NIE. After my posting, I have taught from primary 1 to primary 6 in Pioneer primary school.

Eventually when I left MOE for St Francis Methodist School, I taught the prep classes for lower secondary and secondary 3, and also the lower secondary classes. I worked with the upper secondary levels to develop materials across all levels, and also taught IELTS for a short period of time.
