Currently as a NUS undergraduate, Sophia has 4 years of teaching experience. She has taught students from primary to secondary levels, including ADHD and autistic students. She specialises in teaching Secondary School English due to her related course in University and is also a freelance tutor at a tuition centre.
Teaching Style: Adept at delivering classes in a comprehensible and detailed manner, Sophia strives to make every lesson enriching for her students. Her amiable nature allows her to connect easily with her students. Furthermore, equipped with passion and patience, her students are comfortable in approaching her to clarify any questions in class.
During lessons, Sophia emphasises greatly on practice as it increases the exposure of her students to the different question types in exams and also allows them to internalise the concepts. She also caters each lesson to individual student’s needs while imparting crucial exam tips along the way.

My students are usually from schools like Holy Innocents, Edgefield Secondary, Punggol Secondary and Serangoon Secondary.
Generally they see improvements from a fail to C, or a C to A-B, depending on how long I have taught them. As I'm tutoring on a part-time basis, I do not have much track record at the O Levels if that is what the parent is looking for. These grade improvements are mostly from school final examinations
