Taught in Yuan Ching Secondary school for 12 years, teaching Maths at all levels and Physics at Upper Secondary levels. Left in 2011 to give tuition fulltime. During these years, I have consistently achieved the schools' Mean Subject Grade (MSG) target, resulting in several promotions. For the last 5 years, I have personally tutored P5/6 and Secondary students in Maths, Science & Physics. I also tutored IB and IP students from RI/Dunman High school While most of the students began with either a fail or just-pass grade, 75% of them achieved an A grade by the end of the year through the approach of assessment and correction of students' weakness and misunderstanding of concepts before stretching them with more challenging questions. I have been teaching for the last 3 years and continue to do so. I teach a variety of students, ranging from lower primary students to JC students, a variety of subjects, ranging from Econs to Chemistry. My students generally improve at least 3 grades within 2 months.

I taught one month a girl from SRJC for economics. Apart from that generally teach sec school math, sciences and humans and students improve at least 3 grades from failing to B.

I am firm but patient. I believe that not only do I have to make the effort, the student must also be willing to learn. For primary school students, I also hope that parents would play a more active role in supervising their children.

7 years of experience on and off for some years due to NS and exchange programme during university. Taught mainly mathematics at pri and sec level. Focussing mainly on Amath and Emath for O/N level students. Have taught social studies, geography, history, chinese, chemistry, physics as well over the years. Students came from a wide range of schools ranging from NJC, nan hua high, bukit panjang govt high, west spring, swiss cottage, clementi town etc. Some notable improvement will be from F9 (20+/100) to B3 (68) within 3 months. Generally, improvements range from 1-2 grades. Taught a couple of students who have alr attained A1/2 in school and managed to push to an even higher grade (90+) in their exams.
