As an English tutor, I have been successful in tutoring peers during university, helping classmates and students in the cohort with their assignments and their language learning. This was especially crucial for foreign students as they need to be concise in their written and spoken deliverables for better results. The tuition efforts has since been ongoing from peers to juniors and even after graduation. The grades vary but almost always an improvement with most going from failures to credit.

Also helped tutor a primary 4 and primary 5 kid for oral English and gave regular exercises to build their vocabulary which helped boost their creative writing skills and ability for language use.

Previously I have volunteered to tutor in a home and taught a few girls Secondary 3 and 4 Mathematics and Secondary 4 and 5 principle of accounts. All showed great improvements. Secondary 3 student math improved from D7 to B3 Secondary 4 and 5 Principles of accounts C6 to B4.

My teaching experience started when I was in high school from 2010 to 2012. I tutored children from humble family backgrounds voluntarily. The teaching was aimed to improve their basic writing and speaking skills. The task was simple but it was so intriguing for me that I tasted the joy of teaching someone for the very first time. After I am enrolled in university, I started being home tutors in view of my financial needs, and also as a way to bring me joy for giving out my knowledge. Over the years, I have earned trust from parents and some of my students have successfully entered into prestigious universities in the UK and the US. In December, 2013, I started another tutoring job in Chegg Services, the world's largest online tutoring community. I conduct on-demand lessons to students worldwide on multiple subjects, including Mathematics, Physics, Programming and Chinese language. The sense of achievement when I manage to engage all the students and facilitate their understanding process attracted me so much that I wish I could continue to contribute to students' learning process and enjoy the joy of teaching, with my rich tutoring experience and sound knowledge.
