Back in school, I was the Student of the Year for my cohort in Yishun Town Secondary School. I was in National Cadet Corps (NCC) as my CCA and through the years, my passion for teaching grew. I didn't have an O Level Certificate because I was from the pioneer batch of Polytechnic Foundation Programme (PFP) whereby we scored excellent results in our N(A) examinations and emerged as the Top 10% in Singapore. I have my own way of teaching as through the years, i have been self-teaching myself and it allows me to understand the concepts better than what i learn in school.
