I have about 1 year A level tutoring experience. My students (graduated from JC since 2017) were from SAJC. Two of them saw grade improvements from D (prelims) to A. Another improved from U to B I was also teaching my cousin H2 A Level Maths and Physics and will prepare thoroughly for lessons. I believe that good results come with plenty of practice, especially for Maths and Science and as such, I will prepare thoroughly before lessons to ensure that my student makes full use of every tuition lesson.

Since I'm of a closer age to them, I'm able to connect to them and understand what we be troubling them and how to be able to better help them. I will do my best to adapt to their learning method to make learning more fun and easier for them. I will not treat them like a student but a friend so that they can communicate better with me for me to know better about them so as to better guide them along the way. I'm not perfect but I will come back to them with the correct answer. I will use textbooks, assessment books and exams paper or even school resources. If needed I will make notes for them.

I believe that leaning takes place most effectively if complex mathematical concept can be taught in a clear and simplified way and yet not lose the rigour of the subject. In this way, students can readily absorb the concepts without much difficulty and improve their Maths in a short time. More than 100 students with initial accurate were only 10%-20%( F9 or D for O/A level or under 5 for IB) finally got A or 7 in less than six months under my coaching.

Currently an Undergrad in SMU, doing my bachelors of business management, majoring in Marketing. I have been giving tuition after completing my O level, when I first entered NYP in my year 1. Hence, in total I have an experience of 5 years in tutoring. I tutored a girl in sec 4 who had did not do very well for her prelims but after being tutored by me, she managed to attain a decent grade of B3 from a C5 which she got in her prelims. Another of my student got an A2 for her accounting from B4.

Taught in Yuan Ching Secondary school for 12 years, teaching Maths at all levels and Physics at Upper Secondary levels. Left in 2011 to give tuition fulltime. During these years, I have consistently achieved the schools' Mean Subject Grade (MSG) target, resulting in several promotions. For the last 5 years, I have personally tutored P5/6 and Secondary students in Maths, Science & Physics. I also tutored IB and IP students from RI/Dunman High school While most of the students began with either a fail or just-pass grade, 75% of them achieved an A grade by the end of the year through the approach of assessment and correction of students' weakness and misunderstanding of concepts before stretching them with more challenging questions.
