I have recently graduated from Raffles Institution (JC) and am looking for tutoring opportunities.

I have experience tutoring children from low income families over approximately a year, as well as volunteering as a KidsREAD facilitator teaching children how to read, doing storytelling myself as well, over these 2 years.

As a driven and responsible individual, I'm sure that I will make a difference to the children I teach based on my extensive experience and strong foundations. I will conduct lessons in two parts; I will first ask the student if there are any doubts regarding key concepts, and do a brief summary, then I will assign practice to the student or go through past practices to reinforce how the concepts are applied.

I am from RJC. Enrolling into NUS Computer Engineering in Aug 2017.

I have one year of teaching experience. My student is J1 from NYJC. I'm tutoring him H2 Physics. This student improved from D7 to A2 for Physics O'Level. He engaged me again after O'Level. I have attended Raffles institution for my secondary school and junior college education. I received an A for physics in both A levels and Secondary 4 Integrated programme_ï_EOY. I have 1 year of official teaching experience. My greatest achievement in being a private tutor is that i was able to improve my O-Level Maris Stella secondary 4 student's grade from D7 for physics mid year exam to A2 for physics prelims within 6 months._ï_In addition, I have been teaching_ï_my peers physics and math in school regularly to help them to correct_ï_their misconceptions and assignments problems. Therefore, i am confident in my ability to teach both physics &_ï_math_ï_and help my students to improve their grades._ï_

I taught my good friend who was struggling with his studies after my O levels. He was getting a average of 25 R4 for prelims in sec 5 but eventually we managed to hit the target of 15 R4 for his O levels :) During my 2 years in NS i was a commander who was given a opportunity to give lessons to my recruits .Tutoring and helping them with military knowledge and doubts about anything.

I've always enjoyed Economics and I've a penchant for teaching the subject. I have 5 years of tutoring experience and was described by my students as 'clear and concise' and 'an effective guide'. I graduated from Singapore Management University with a double degree in Economics and Business Management (Finance) and was awarded the Lee Kong Chian Scholarship Award. I was a Deans List Hounoree and achieved distinctions for my Economics modules. I was also a Teaching Assistant for International Economics module and provided consultation for fellow students and assisted the Professor with his research work. Prior to SMU, I graduated from Raffles Junior College with straight As for GCE-A Levels. I'm currently working in a Global Private Bank having joined its Graduate Talent Program.<br> <br> I taught IB SL and HL economics to students from HCI, SJI, GIIS (Global Indian International School)<br> They were mostly scoring from 3-5 points and improved to 6/7 points depending on at which stage they engaged me and whether I helped with their Extended Essays<br> I have past year papers and marking scheme from 2010 to 2016 both May and Nov version so it totals to about 20 papers. I also have previously prepared summary notes for my IB students.<br>
