As a former secondary chinese teacher, I am familiar with the new syllabus of textbook, the new O level exam format. I had been teaching in secondary school for 6 years. I taught two batch of Sec 4 classes who took their O level exam in 2015 and 2016. I had conducted many remedial lessons in school for those are very weak in chinese. I am willingly putting my effort in teaching those are weak in chinese with different teaching methods. I think that the most important is to engage with student more and understand how he/she thinks for chinese subject. I have enough patience to deal with those who are not keen on chinese.

Starting from 29 June 2017, I just posted to Kong Hwa School to teach primary students. Currently, I am taking P1 and P5 classes. Although it is two different age of children, I still able to handle them well. Content wise, even though i just start teaching for few weeks, i am slowly know more about the syllabus of P1 and P5 Chinese. With my past experiences of teaching sec 1 student, i know what the primary student should learn before they enter in secondary school. If parents believe in me, I will try my best to help the student improve their chinese standard.

I have my diploma in French and spent a year doing a masters programme in France. I am a current English teacher at the French School of Singapore and was teaching English at ACS international school.

I was also an Ex MOE teacher for English.

I taught a student in Canadian International school for his IB French exam.

2nd Boy was engaged slightly late in August, and currently waiting for his result.

I have 5 years experience teaching primary/sec/'O levels' school students, many made dramatic improvement in grades usually a 4-6 grade jump.
I help students visualise difficult math concepts such as calculus, trigonometry and vectors, to substantiate their understanding for further learning (In JC, Uni)
I run MathsForFun supplementary lessons such as 'Fun with Calculus', 'Pre-calculus for the curious', 'Visualising algebra' where students play games such as chess (coordinate geometry), dice (probability/statistics) and draw pictures (vectors/trigonometry) to get hands on with math concepts.

I am now teaching in Singapore Chinese Girls’ School since March 2025. Previously taught in RI for 3 years and NYGH for 13+ years. Can teach Upper Sec Chem and Phy. 10 years of tuition experience. Have taken students from RI, RGS, MGS, SCGS, St Nic etc. This year, I'm working with students from HCI and River Valley Usually 80% of my students would show at least 1 grade improvement after 6 months. Eg C5/C6 to B3/B4 Seen improvement in at least 80% of my clients every year, for example: a) 1 Sec 2 student from Yuan Ching Sec: failed mid-year science exam with F9 in Sec 1 but passed all science exams including this year end-of year since I was hired< b) 1 Sec 2 student from RGS: entered RGS with borderline PSLE score, scored distinctions in every Chem and Phy exam and project under my guidance, parent has just engaged me to teach her brother as well who is going into Sec 1 next year c) 1 Sec 3 student from School of SST: F9 in mid-year Chem exam this year, hired me in July, scored B4 in end of year chem exam d) 1 Sec 4 student from Choa Chu Kang Sec, scored F9 for Chem in mid-year, hired me in July, scored A2 for Chem in end-of-year e) 1 student from St Andrews JC, scored U in mid-year, hired me in June, scored B3 in Term 3 Term Test, end-of-year Exam result not out yet
