7 years tutoring IB and Sec, JC students specialise in Physics, Maths & Chemistry. Having taught students from different backgrounds including one with ADHD, I understand the importance of patience and by first understanding the needs of the individual student to suit his/her learning style. I normally engage students by giving real life examples so that students can gain appreciation about what he/she is learning. I believe that every student has the potential to do well in his/her studies as long as they put their heart on it. Over the 5 years teaching N,O level, IGCSE, IP, pre-IB and IB students, I have seen students improving in their studies and how even the slightest improvement can overcome their self-doubt and it turns into the motivation to do even better in future. I am eager to share my experience and tips with the students on their learning progress, as I was once in their shoes struggling with self doubts and uncertainty too, so that they too can improve in their studies. A few specific experience: Managed to help a sec 4 N(A) failing in combined science to pass with top score in class for the chemistry portion. The student managed to get admitted to his preferred further education afterwards; Managed to help a sec 4 O level girl to improve her Amaths by 2 grades; Managed to help another iGCSE boy maintain his top 3 in class for Mathematics
