My teaching style is to help my students build their foundation concepts, conquer their homework, then master exam questions.

Having taught many students from Primary 3 to Pre-U 3, I realised the developmental phase of each student is different. For example, a lower secondary student may be more motivated and matured when compared to an upper secondary student. Nevertheless, my goal has always been to assist all my students to achieve their academic and non-academic targets.

Every student whom I have taught improved in their studies by at least 1 grade and built their self-confidence.

I have also taught students with special needs. These experiences are especially rewarding for me because not only do they become confident persons, they also help others around them.

I just graduated in 2016 from Innova Junior College hence I have only slight experience tutoring my relatives without any cost incurred. I have taught 2 of my relatives which were both in upper secondary, a mix of both Science and Maths. Most of the time they would approach me with regards to their homework in which they are not able to solve certain questions and ask certain topics that they are unsure of. I would guide them through the questions and make them re-do these questions by themselves so as to ensure that they full grasp the concepts applied in these questions. Furthermore, during the lessons, after going through topics (eg. Matrices), I would let them try out basic questions and then tougher ones upon seeing progress. I would frequently quiz the concepts or formulas taught to test their understanding & ability to apply the appropriate concepts or formulas to the relevant questions.

I have been tutoring since I was 18 years old, as an assistant tutor in the tuition class I was learning in since I was in primary school. I taught group tuition to my juniors at that point until I went overseas for my degree when I was 24 years old.

On top of the tuition group, I had 2 more home tuition of which I taught from Secondary 1 until Secondary 4. At the point I could teach all the way up to secondary 4 as I was still freshly graduated from Junior College and in touch with the syllabus.

When I returned from overseas at 25 years old, I continued teaching tuition to 3 more home tuition kids, primary 3 EMSC, primary 2 EMSC, and primary 5 ESC. All of their spoken English improved, and their Math and Science improved as a result of improved understanding to the English questions.

After giving tuition to the primary 3 kid, his Chinese improved from C to B, and subsequently to A when he went into primary 4. The kids always followed me until they graduate from PSLE.

All of them passed with flying colours, the primary 2 kid went into SAP school, Dunman High School.

I have one year experience in teaching a primary 6 student foundation subjects. She passed all and proceeded to secondary school. I have 2 years experience in teaching Maths 1 and Maths 2 to a electrical engineering diploma student. He passed both subjects with a grade B+. I have 1 year experience in teaching Olevel Emaths to a sec 5 student who repeated. His grade improved from a F9 to B4. I have 1 year experience in teaching English, Maths and Science to a primary 3 child with ADHD. His grades improved from Bs to As.
