_ï_I love teaching and mathematics, what better way to_ï_put it together than being a Mathematics teacher! Teaching is my passion and I always aim to make maths an enjoyable subject for my student. I_ï_have 2 years of teaching experience._ï_ Sept 2016 to present (KUMON, Jurong West) Higher Level Mathematics Teacher I deal with different students at different ages learning at their own pace with different topics in mathematics. KUMON worksheets have given me good exposure to new ways of solving mathematical problems . I really enjoy watching students progress at their own pace as they build up confidence. My key role at work involved planning there homework and organizing worksheets, helping them solve mathematical problems at class and marking and correcting their mistakes. 2015-2016 (Ilma Internationale Girls' School Colombo, Sri Lanka)

Subjects taught :Statistics 1 and economics for AS level Cambridge, Mathematics _ï_and Economics for lower secondary school.

I trained my students for the public examinations, and one of them went from despising Statistics to scoring a B in her examinations. I always tried to make my class interesting by building a good_ï_rapport with my students and giving individual attention to each one of them. I introduced a Sudoku challenge in the school's inter house mathematics quiz. Having handled about 6 classes of 30 students each, I_ï_have taught a total of 180 students, who all have enjoyed my teaching and begun to like Mathematics. Some methods of teaching I used in the classrooms were, group homework discussions, group assignments, challenging worksheets and classroom games like the math charade.

2016- present (Volunteer tutor at Loving Heart Multi-Service Centre, Jurong) My teaching skills have been utilized for a good cause here, I am enjoying every bit of it and have seen a great improvement in my student. This experience has also allowed me to become well versed with_ï_Singapore's school mathematics syllabus. I am currently handling_ï_secondary 2 mathematics and enjoying it lot. _ï_
