I have been on the deans list multiple times - awarded to the top 5% of the cohort. I also have a MOE Teaching Scholarship (Local) I was teaching at Fuhua Secondary school for Chemistry, from 2018-2022. I generally specialise more in combined and pure Chemistry / IP chemistry. Students come from all schools, ranging from neighbourhood to top schools (Hwa Chong, RV, NYGH, NJC..) Most students improve by at least 3 grades. At O levels, so far min B3. Mostly A2. I usually customize each lesson for each student after getting to know their weaknesses and strength. Most if not all my students show improvement in their result. To me, it is important to be detailed, comprehensive, clear and concise. My notes are detailed and comprehensive. My delivery of the lesson is cogent and clear. Most importantly, everything is concise and to the point. I prioritize efficient learning. Thus every single lesson, is designed towards maximum learning. Time is precious, and it should not be wasted learning in an inefficient manner (as I have seen so many students do). I will guide and lead my students towards the mastery of Chemistry, and in the process unearth the love for the subject!
