My name is Ravi Shanker, i just completed my National Service in the Naval Diving Unit as a Navy Diver, and current waiting for my University. I am truly motivated to inspire young kids by teaching them not only tuition in academic level at the same time also cultivating exceptional morals and values which will positively impact them in their academic level and also the approach taken to upon their studies. As an individual i usually take things step by step for kids to understand the concepts and methods, making sure they are able to master it and apply it accordingly. Along with that, i am also a good listener and communicator being able to adapt with the kids and apprehend their behaviour appropriately suiting their style.

In conclusion, i am truly motivated to develop and pass on my knowledge to the young kids and will definitely produce good results during their academic progress.

My previous job as a Receptionist in a Tuition Centre requires me to work with children from Nursery Level to Secondary 5 Level, and I developed a passion for working with kids.

I am personally bilingual, well-versed in both English and Mandarin (I.e. Writing and Verbal).

If you hire me as your child's private Chinese Tutor, my overall objective is to instill a positive attitude towards education.

Secondly, my goal is building confidence and interest in learning Chinese (Reading, Writing (Chinese Characters, Hanyu Pinyin, etc) and Speaking) so that they use it to their full potential.

I used to work in the early childhood industry, creating and implementing different lessons for children of various age groups, and I was a tutor for P3 and P4 English, Malay, and Mathematics. I have a passion for reading and writing, and I hope to be able to bring to the next generation the wonders of the fiction world. As for Mathematics I believe knowing the whys is just as important as knowing the hows and that is how I often structure my lessons.
