My name is Audrey. Thank You for giving me this opportunity to introduce myself.
I do not have any prior teaching experience.

My previous job as a Receptionist in a Tuition Centre requires me to work with children from Nursery Level to Secondary 5 Level, and I developed a passion for working with kids.

I am personally bilingual, well-versed in both English and Mandarin (I.e. Writing and Verbal).

If you hire me as your child's private Chinese Tutor, my overall objective is to instill a positive attitude towards education.

Secondly, my goal is building confidence and interest in learning Chinese (Reading, Writing (Chinese Characters, Hanyu Pinyin, etc) and Speaking) so that they use it to their full potential.

I graduated with a diploma in early childhood education from Ngee Ann polytechnic. I used to work in the early childhood industry, creating and implementing different lessons for children of various age groups, and I was a tutor for P3 and P4 English, Malay, and Mathematics. I have a passion for reading and writing, and I hope to be able to bring to the next generation the wonders of the fiction world. As for Mathematics I believe knowing the whys is just as important as knowing the hows and that is how I often structure my lessons.

I am currently doing my Diploma in Mass Communications at Kaplan. I have 1 year experience. I tutored a p3 kid last year and she showed tremendous improvement. I would have continued tutoring but I stopped to focus on my n levels. My highest qualification may just be N levels but I'm familiar with the primary syllabus and EngMath are my strongest subjects.

I have been tutoring Economics for the past three years at JC and IB level with a Bachelor of Business ¢__Ô_‹Ð Banking and Finance with second upper honours from Nanyang Technological University. My students have shown significant improvements in their results as well as greater appreciation in the practical application of Economics. My students have feedback that my style of teaching has challenged their usual understanding of Economics and helped them to perceive this subject in a new light.

I've taught students from VJC, private candidates, international students from HCI and ACSI. All were failing if not barely passing, and ended up with at least a B for A levels and 6 for IB
