Been teaching English to foreigners since 2006 mainly to foreign students in general, academic and conversational English. Taught in japan and korea. Tutored in English with Singapore Cancer Society since 2013. Students are mostly foreigners from China, Japan, korea, S.E.A.. for local school students tuition with cancer society, average scores initial from 50+ goes up to about 70. My local students are mostly in neighbourhood schools. Fengshan primary school, Tampines primary school, punggol green primary school. They started off between 50-60, year end about 75 marks.

Mr Yeo is a Physics teacher in secondary schools with 25 years of experience.

He graduated from National University Of Singapore with a Bachelor of Science, with a major in Physics and a minor in English, under the sponsorship of Singapore Public Service Commission Scholarship (Teaching). Mr Yeo continued to pursue the Post-Graduate Diploma in Education under the National Institute of Education, where he was trained to teach Physics and English at secondary level.

Later in his career as an educator, Wee Chong was appointed Head of Science Department, and went on to pursue the Master of Education at the National Institute Of Education.

As a classroom teacher, Mr Yeo carries out concept based teaching using clear and concise MOI (Methods of Instructions) so that students are able to apply their understanding to meet the demands of the O Level Examination. He teaches kinesthetic, tactile, audio and visual learning strategies to speed up and improve retention of student understanding; such skills can be applied across all subject and levels.

The most recent Gallup CliftonStrengths analysis in December 2017 showed Mr Yeo to have the following Top Three Themes in order of strengths: Empathy, Developer and Relator. As such, he has a natural devotion to help others develop to their fullest potential, especially in the academic and intellectual areas.

Currently I have a RI year 4 student who improved from a failing grade last year to a B grade currently. Last year my student graduated from VJC with an A in Chemistry. A level Physics and Chem grades A.
