As i began teaching since i was a student at Nanyang Technological University (NTU) in 2013, I have a total of 5 years of teaching experience to date. I teach both math and science at the upper primary, lower secondary and upper secondary levels. Hence, i am largely familiar with the MOE curriculum and i am aware of the changes in educational requirements over the years. My students have all shown improvements in their results and some of them have stayed with me for over 2 years.

When it comes to tutoring, I believe in adopting a friendly but firm approach. Nonetheless, i recognise that each student is different and i will adjust my teaching style accordingly to suit their needs. Before the start of the lesson, my style is to come up with a lesson and i will tell the student what we will be covering and the goals to be achieved by the end of the lesson. I will also set long term goals for my students so that i can keep track of their progress over time. All in all, i believe that every student has to potential to do well and excel as long as they put their heart and mind into whatever they do. Hence, it is my desire to motivate them to improve and achieve their goals.

I just graduated with a degree in Physiotherapy and I have a full time job as a Physiotherapist. I have no prior experience being a tutor. However, as i have a brother who is 12 years younger than me, i often find myself sitting next to him to teach and guide him through his schoolwork. Moreover, I have always enjoyed peer teaching back in school where I would help friends with their school work whenever they had any problems or difficulty. I am hoping to be able to give tuition as means of extra income for myself and my family.

1. Have taught PSLE EMS last year: student scored 244.. student went to TKGS
2. Current p5 EMS student scored top in class for his math and second in class for science after failing all 3 subjects in CA1
3. Have taught Sec 1 math (scored 67 for mid year, then scored 74 for end of year, after failing CA1)
4. Currently teaching Sec 3, math, pure chemistry and English. 10 marks increase in English, 15 in math, and 5 in chemistry.
5. Currently teaching private o level candidate math and English currently.

Overall I am able to increase marks by at least one sub grade over one semester and begin aiming for B3 to As thereafter
