I have about 2 - 3 years of teaching Upper primary and Secondary 1 student. One of the Primary 6 student I've taught before scored red for all subjects, but during PSLE he finally managed to pass all subjects and got into Normal Academic stream (instead of the NT stream based on initial results). I have also been in the HR Management field in large corporations for the past 12 years, and I am equipped to teach local polytechnic undergraduates who are facing difficulty in understanding Business Management, HR Management as well as the local labor laws.

I am currently a Relief Math Teacher at St Stephen’s Primary School, teaching Primary 2 and Primary 5 students, including those requiring additional support. *Specialist Physics tutor* I'm teaching for Starich Education, Inspire Education and 7+ Academy right now, more than 4 years teaching experience. I've had many students. I do know one of them is from Dunman High School from the notes she would bring to class. There was one NUS student and another NTU student, and right now there's a student from Zenith Education Studio. I was also teaching one JC physics student, she engaged me after failing her last physics paper, and in the most recent one she just missed an "A". I also taught several IB and IGCSE students last year. For IB SL Physics, there's a very useful free website I've been using. I can provide test questions to practice on. Right now I have one IB student, who's from CIS Most of my teaching experience was during my PhD, when I was a teaching assistant at the University of Auckland. I taught a first-year astrophysics lab for ~100 students, and also manned the physics help room. I was involved in designing and grading scripts for the lab class. For the physics help room, students can approach a tutor with any physics problem, which in turn means the tutor must be extremely familiar with every subfield of physics. Most of my students clearly learned something from my sessions, and I've had some of them thank me privately for helping pass their exams. One student even offered to engage me as a private tutor, although I declined to reserve time to work on my PhD. My department liked my work enough to keep employing me while I was at the university, as well.

I work for a museum doing graphic design and content creation hence I have experience with writing and grammar. We often have tours for students and I assist in educational walks. I am taking a Communications degree as well. I have over 15 years experience in drawing and creative arts, illustration, 3D art and sculpture. I have experience tutoring my younger cousins. I have experience with communicating with young children as I was an ex police officer. I am able to handle children who are in stressful situations and who may have learning difficulties. I have taught writing workshops and lectures at Columbia University, an Ivy league university from 2017-2018. For the last 3 years, I am an online tutor with tutor.com, where i tutor high school to graduate students, including US army personnel. In addition, I'm a college admissions consultant with Able Education Technology, where I have a 100% rate at helping top students in Nanjing enter top colleges in the States, UK, and China. With Able, I have also taught masterclasses in writing for the New York Times summer writing contest for the past two years. On a personal note, I've recently returned to Singapore after spending ten years in New York City.
