I am a Chinese language teacher with 8 years of experience in Singapore’s preschool education sector, driven by a deep passion for teaching—particularly the Chinese language. Having worked with young children from diverse backgrounds, I have gained a profound understanding of how crucial it is to build a solid foundation during the critical period of language acquisition. Parents of my former K2 students have shared wonderful feedback, noting that their children became Chinese language group leaders in Primary 1, developed a keen interest in the language, and truly enjoyed the Tang poetry lessons I taught.

Regarding my teaching expertise, I am well-versed in Singapore’s preschool curriculum framework and understand the developmental milestones of children across listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills. In the classroom, I excel at integrating the Chinese language into children's daily lives. Through stories, nursery rhymes, games, and situational conversations—as well as Hanyu Pinyin instruction—I spark students' interest and confidence, helping them express their thoughts naturally in Chinese.
My teaching philosophy centers on "joyful learning" and a "step-by-step" approach. I provide personalized guidance tailored to each student's proficiency and learning pace, emphasizing foundational vocabulary, sentence structure practice, and accurate expression, while also fostering positive learning attitudes and habits. Now working as a full-time Chinese tutor, I aim to help children steadily improve their Chinese proficiency through a focused and systematic approach; I want them to experience a sense of achievement in their learning and build a robust foundation for their future academic journey.
我是一名在新加坡从事多年学前教育的华文老师，一直怀着对教育事业的热忱，尤其热爱华文教学。多年来，我与不同背景的幼儿相处，深刻体会到在孩子语言学习关键期打好基础的重要性。在我教过的K2学生里，有家长跟我反馈说：“我的孩子去到小一当上了华文组长、我的孩子对学习华文很感兴趣、我的孩子很喜欢您教的唐诗等。”
在教学经验方面，我熟悉新加坡学前教育课程框架，了解孩子在听、说、读、写各阶段的发展特点。教学中，我善于把华文融入孩子的日常生活，通过故事、儿歌、游戏和情境对话（也教汉语拼音hanyupinyin），激发学生学习华文的兴趣与自信心，帮助他们自然地使用华文表达想法。
在教学方法上，我注重“快乐学习、循序渐进”。我会根据学生的程度和学习节奏进行个别化指导，重视基础词汇、句型练习和正确表达，同时也关注孩子的学习态度与习惯培养。转为全职华文补习老师后，我希望能以更专注、更系统的方式，帮助孩子稳步提升华文能力，让他们在华文学习中找到成就感，也为学生未来的学习打下坚实基础！
