I have 1 year of tutoring experience. I tutored when i was a doctorate student in a US university . I taught Pharmacokinetics to a group of 6 PhD students. The minimum passing mark was a 70% on each exams ; however the 6 students got below 50s. After coaching them , they managed to score from 70% to 85% .

Prior to going to the US , i've tutored science to lower sec students . The recent tutoring experience i had was being a Pharmacokinetic tutor

Taught my friend's brother for one year. Helped him understand most concepts and gave him tips to solve certain questions. He couldn't catch up during class lessons, I gave him tips to solve certain questions. He doesn't need my help anymore since he could manage his assignments easily right now. I studied in Hougang secondary school, faced difficulties learning at times in the past. I can understand the troubles and difficulties a weaker student might be experiencing since I've been through it myself. Hence, it would be easier for me to help the student improve his grades.

i recently just continued tutoring a year ago, after my uni. last year I teach math and english. one p2 student and another p6 student. the p2 from a below 20 mark, she managed to get a just pass for FYE. the p6 boy is in foundation prog for both eng and math. his teacher and father have no hope of him getting into a secondary sch bcos of his grades but now he managed to get into one.

I have been teaching primary school students in tuition centres here in the west area since 2012, specialising in mainly in Science, Chinese language and English language. Over the years, I have met different types of students and I have the confidence and patience in motivating them to do well in their studies. What drove me towards teaching part time while I am studying is the passion and sense of satisfaction when parents told me that their child enjoy my teaching methods and has improved significantly a fail to at least a B. I believe in every student's capability and with the right mind and attitude towards learning, every child can excel in his/ her own way. I have 6 years of tutoring experience in Meow Tuition Centre. I've taught math (p4,5) science (p4-6) english (p1-4). Students come from West Grove Primary , corporation primary , nan hua primary, Westwood primary. The kids I've taught maintained their As, or improved from a fail to at least a pass.

I had an experience of teaching an expat child for 1 year in preparation for his studies in primary school. He had improved his speech and pronunciation of words. He started primary one in January and by the time it was in June, he had improved his grades for english and mathematics from 30+ to 60+.

However he had to stop taking lessons from me as he had to return back to his country due to his father's transfer back to India.
