I have 15 years of tutoring experience. 7 years of teaching experience in Tanjong Katong Secondary school up to Jun 2017. I was teaching Sec 3 and 4 pure chemistry and lower secondary 1 and 2 for science and maths.

CS1:Chemistry, CS2: lower secondary mathematics. I was responsible for planning of O level pure chemistry curriculum, science(chemistry) curriculum and lower secondary science curriculum. My batches of O level pure Chemistry batches attained an average of 85% distinction in O level, the science(Chemistry) batches attained an average of 80% distinction. For private tuitions, my students have improved at least 3 grades, i.e from fail to B3, C5 to A1.

I have no experience but am committed to every job/ task assignment I choose to take up. After volunteering in Nepal (teaching business skills to children ages 11-18), I discovered that I have a more hands-on teaching style. The focus is on helping the student to grasp a strong foundation using analogies and models that helps the student to visualise problems. The aim is to allow the student to be able to learn independently and able to understand new concepts by himself/ herself eventually.
