7 years (5 years part time + 2 years full time) Have coached > 80 students in economics from different backgrounds. Strongly believe that the poor performance of students is very symptomatic the current teaching methodology employed in schools. The issue is that economics content is being taught in silos without much attempt to integrate and link it into a holistic picture. A student is thus required to distill the content as well as integrate the content by himself due to the current teaching methodology employed in schools. A tall task for most students. I have a plethora of experience tutoring economics, and have tutored both local / international students in SG/ students in UK (Oxford) /Wales etc. for A levels. Having matriculated from one of the most rigorous and prestigious economics courses in the world, I have learnt how to distil the content required which presents itself in multiple ways in exams, and do have a specific teaching methodology which aids students in integrating content into a mental model. This also aids in addressing examinations questions and this methodology is reinforced by the personalised notes I do provide for students. Furthermore, my teaching experience is augmented from my past experience as an investment banker, allowing me to draw parallels to real world issues to this very theoretical subject.

I have had 2 years of relief teaching at NanHua Primary School and Queenstown Primary. I was mainly teaching Mathematics at P3,P4 level and Physical Education. I am very trained in several physical activities - yoga, energy flow, massage therapy. And also in Mathematics especially in computer science, programming area. My expertise is in motivating children to learn through their own positive behaviour, and move through the grades TOGETHER with their increase in confidence. I am trained and experienced in catching the attention of children and bring their focus to the learning required.

I have total of 8 years tutoring. Mainly mathematics, improved by one grade at least. Recently I coach more students in positive mindset and English listening and oral comprehension, to improve speaking and concepts formation with NLP techniques.


When I was studying during 14 years old to 21 years old, I was teaching primary school children in mathematics. I am very experienced as a mentor and coaching young children. I recently got trained in and certified as a life coach and have coached up to 100 people ranging from age 14 to 30 years old. I have also a certificate in neuroscience studies at the Aalto University in Finland, having study how to change behaviours through training the mind. I am well trained and experienced in delivering positive behaviour change and soft skills development. My commitment is to develop the soft skills required for the future. I have also more than 15 years as a corporate trainer, delivering training in countries all over the world. I have good communication skills with people around the world, and very adaptive in different languages.
