As such I have every confidence that I will be able to equip the client with excellent reading and conversational skills -i have taught students with mild autism and mild dyslexia in school

I started tuition in Poly, teaching a primary school student P3 maths and science, from 2011 to 2014.
Currently, I'm giving tuition to secondary school students with focus on science related subjects such as Physics and Chemistry

Primary - Maths

I have been teaching in a primary school since 2009. I specialize in teaching Mathematics only. Students under my care are usually students who are weak in the subject or faster learners compared to the rest of the pupils in their classes. I will either stay in class with them or withdraw them and conduct lessons according to their pace (learning abilities). I have taught different levels all these years. This year I am teaching Pri 1, 5 and 6. I work with teachers in and out of classes for different levels from Pri 1 to Pri 6 as well. In addition, I help to prepare teaching resources like creating worksheets and arrange manipulative as needed. In smaller groups teaching, I am able to engage students according to their learning ability and clear any misconception immediately. In addition, students will not feel too much of unwanted peer pressure if they are not sure of what have been taught. It will build their confidence once they understand and are able to solve questions. I will commit and make time for more lessons nearer to exam days. Lessons can be flexible as both students and teacher can be busy if there are last minute school activity scheduled. All of the students under my care (school or tuition kids) showed significant improvement over the years. One of my Pri6 FMA boy scored 70 (prelim) from 30 (CA1) after 4 mths of tuition.

I participated in peer mentoring programme in jc for maths and economics, where i helped the weaker students by guiding them in their assignments and homework. Students shown improvement after my guidance(average of 2 grades)

I have taught several students at different levels (Secondary, JC and IB) at a tuition center and I have taught a student in private tuition (who will be going to Taiwan to pursue Computer Science). From the students at the tuition center, 75% have given me an Excellent rating and 22% have given me a Good rating. The other 3% did not give a rating.
