Girl was studying at Marymount Convent & Boy was from Catholic High School. P5 Girl’s EL Grades : from 78% to 88% P1 Boy’s EL Grades : from 86% to 95% Stopped physical tuition when Covid kicked in and mother did not carry on as she felt that her children’s grades were ok and she could manage them on her own. 2021-2022 Tutored a P3 Malay boy at AMK Ave 4 for the subject English & Maths. Boy is dyslexic and quite difficult to teach. EL Grades – from 22% to 42% Math Grades – from 25% to 45% I decided to stop the tuition after 1 year as it needed much energy from my side to reach out to the boy who cannot focus and kept rocking his chair and jumping around each lesson. 2022-2023 Tutored 2 sisters, P2 & P5 at Compassvale East Drive for EL & CL subjects. P5 Girl’s EL Grades – from 41% to 56% P5 Girl’s CL Grades – from 36% to 51% P2 Girl’s EL Grades – from 39% to 52% P2 Girl’s CL Grades – from 25% to 41% Stopped tuition as parents shifted to Kallang or Bendemeer area as BTO flat ready to shift in around September. Location was too far for me so I stopped. Cont’d: 2022-2024 Tutored English to a P6 Boy and P3 girl (Malaysians) from Wellington Circle. Both children are studying at Endeavour Primary School. P6 Boy’s EL Grades – from 39% to 62% (Prelims) P6 Boy’s CL Grades – from 71% to 79% (Prelims) P3 Girl’s EL Grades – from 36% to 53% P3 Girl’s CL Grades – from 78% to 81% Both students are generally weak in EL as they do not converse in the language at home. The boy has just finished PSLE EL and the girl will be having her SA2 soon. Currently, I’m still teaching them. 2023-2024 Tutored EL & CL to P6 Boy at Buangkok Crescent. Boy is above average for all his subjects, just needed some help to improve further. P6 EL Grade – from 68% to 83% P6 CL Grade – from 67% to 79% Just finished PSLE EL Exam and CL Exam will be today. Will stop tuition soon since EL & CL exam over by 30 Sept 2024. Parent says to teach EL & Math to the younger son (P4) in Nov/Dec 2024. 2023-2024 Tutored EL & CL to P1 Boy & P2 Girl, at ForestvilleCondo, Woodlands Dr 16. Both children are cousins. This assignment was a referral from father of Buangkok Crescent tutee. P1 Boy – clever; better than P2 girl, for EL. He can handle Spelling of difficult words on his own. Weak in CL. P2 Girl – above Average. Weak memory when it comes to Spelling. But she reads very well. CL – quite good. *no grades yet. Still tutoring both kids. 2023-2024 Tutored CL to 5-year-old Indian boy at Sengkang East Drive (referral from Woodland’s tutee’s mother). *Boy is a quick-learner and progressing very well. *He can recognise some CL words on his own and read the P1 text book (with some help). Still tutoring 5-year-old Indian boy. 2023-2024 Tutored EL to fraternal twins (P4 Boy & Girl) at Yishun Ave 6. Girl is ok but boy is dyslexic. Students are referred by Woodland’s tutee. Still tutoring both kids. 2025 Tutoring P1-P5 - English &  K2, 1-P3 - Chinese

My teaching method:
0) Student should read up the topic on his/her own to be familiarize with the content.
1) Run through the topic with the student.
2) Emphasize and highlight key points
3) 'Conceptual questions' will be verbally asked to check the student's progress of learning
4) Repeat and re-explain any unclear details
5) Practice questions to further strengthen their understanding
6) Review on questions
7) Practice on exam papers

*Students will be given extra practice questions if the tutor deem that the assignments given by school is insufficient
*Tutoring sessions will be spent mostly on reviewing questions and understanding concepts
*Tutoring time should not be wasted on doing questions as students should initially do questions on their own
