Teaching students with Dyslexia will need more lesson prep and customized worksheets/ notes etc Initial scores and final results too many to list, but I do have students who topped Peicai and Yuying o levels for multiple years. I believe that everyone has the ability to learn and excel, but the route to success may not be the same for everyone. Hence it is important to equip students with the necessary skills to pursue the successes that they deserve in the future. I teach my students how to learn, the skills to identify what to study for and when to study. Analytic skills and a right mindset are two of the important qualities that my students will bring with them when they graduate from my classes. I recognise that every student is different and a generic approach to teaching can never address the needs of all the students. Therefore, I am a big advocate for the learner centred approach to teaching. My one to one lessons are highly customised to address the difficulties each student may have. My face to face lessons not only comprise of pen and paper activities. Hands on activities are also available for students who need a more varied teaching method to better understand the subject.

Hello, I am David, a part time math and science tutor. I graduated from VJC in 2019 and was one of the top students in my cohort, attaining a 96 percentile overall. My goal is to extend a helping hand to help students out there who are experiencing the same worries as I did when I was nearing my A levels. I would like to share my studying techniques with you, making learning math and science easier, hoping that my students can build a stronger interest for these subjects. I have experience in teaching 2 other O level students and 2 primary school students. I promise that with my passion for the subjects, learning will be interesting and enjoyable. I am very grateful that one of my pri schl student, who is mildly dyslexic, manage to improve academically in a mere 2 months as I took over to prepare him for his eoy exams During the usual 90min lesson, I plan to spend the first 30-45 minutes teaching content using textbooks and notes which i personally crafted. The next 45-60 minutes will be spent doing practices from exercise books and past year papers from top schools in Singapore. My teaching methodology is that i strongly believe that every student has the ability to excel in a particular subject with the right guidance and hardwork and it is my job to guide them and help my students build a strong foundation in math and science so that they can grasp what their school teachers are teaching. I understand that every student learns at a different pace and have their own preferred way of learning , thus i will craft my lesson to best suit the needs of my students so that they can improve under me

I am an ex RI (JC) chemistry lecturer. I have taught H2 Chemistry in school for 5 years and have taught 3 graduating batches. I am able to teach both high ability and low ability students. I have also taught H2 Chemistry tuition for 4 years. I reteach topics so that students have better understanding of the topics. Worksheets will be provided and tailored to the student's abilities. I also frequently conduct summaries and revisions to consolidate learning for the student so that he/she can remember concepts well. I also provide practical revision nearer to the practical exam.
