Hello! :) A brief introduction of my credentials are that I studied in Raffles Institution and later did my GCE 'A' Levels in Raffles Junior College. I scored 6 distinctions (A grade) in H2 Mathematics, H2 Geography, H2 Economics, H2 Chemistry, H1 General Paper, and H1 Project Work. After junior college, I studied in the National University of Singapore (NUS) and graduated with a Bachelor of Laws in 2018. Thereafter, I practiced law for a year and was called to the Singapore Bar in 2019. I taught tuition for about 4-5 years throughout my army and university days. I have taught students from top schools including Nanyang Primary and Raffles Institution. To me, education is of utmost importance. Good education is derived from having a teacher who is not only effective in communication, but also serves as a good role model that can motivate a student to bring out the best in himself or herself. I believe I can be that person.

I have been and still am teaching recreational and competitive gymnastics (up to Women’s Artistic Gymnastics Australian Level 2) for an average class size of 6 children aged 5 and above as my part time job. I have also given voluntary tuition for O-Level English, Math, Geography and Chemistry once a week for a few months to help friends prepare for exams. I have revised through the syllabuses of Primary Science, Upper Primary Math, Secondary Math and Secondary Pure Chemistry.

I have tutored English for primary and secondary school students for 2 years. Many of my students have improved by at least 1 grade in their exams through my guidance. In addition to that, I have tutored Junior College students H1 General Paper and H1/H2 Economics in the weeks leading up to A levels. All of them went from barely passing these subjects in their preliminary exams to getting at least a 'B' grade in A levels. I am familiar with the current syllabus for all the subjects I intend to tutor. In my years of tutoring, I had gotten the opportunity to teach students with differing learning styles. As a result, I am able to adapt and find a teaching method that is most suitable for them, and this will allow my students to learn at a pace that is most comfortable for them. In terms of qualifications, I attained an A1 for English Language in O levels and an 'A' for General Paper and H2 Economics in A levels. These are subjects that I was consistently top in class at and I know the methods and techniques required to score well for these subjects.

I have experience teaching classmates in English, where he improved to an A in the PSLE. I have achieved stellar grades throughout academic life and strongly believe in studying smart and critical thinking, which I have applied in my personal studies. I will share tips and tricks on how to answer exam papers as knowing the content alone, although important, is definitely not enough to score good grades. I understand the education system very well since I am an undergraduate and still in the system. I can understand the struggles students face since I have personally faced them before and can quickly help them get over difficulties without wasting time trying since I already have the experience.

Taught biology to 2 students ( secondary 3 & 4 ). One of them graduated last year with an A2 in biology, a huge improvement as she was getting C and D for the subject previously. Another student is still ongoing.

I have about 2 years experience teaching Primary 1 to 6 math and science . I have taught about 3 student who were very weak in the subjects as they couldnt catch up with class. After the tuition and together with their hard work, they manage to catch up with class and get out of their struggle. Im glad to see them striving in school now and even enjoy learning the subjects they previously was struggling in.
