Throughout the years, she has been scoring between 85 to 90s consistently from P3 to P6. Her final prelim marks Science: 89 Maths: 85 Started teaching a P3 ACSJ student maths and science this year. No assessment for P2. We started at the beginning of this year. I have taught a Primary 3 boy and a Secondary 1 boy during my time as a Secondary 2 student. The Primary 3 boy's results improved in the subject of Mathematics from C to an A in a span of half a year. The Secondary 1 boy's results improved in the subject of Geography from C5 to an A2, Physics from B3 to A1 and Mathematics from A2 to A1. During my J2 days, I tutored my junior in the subject of physics and his results improved from S to a B.

I was teaching in Nan Chiau High school up to end 2015. Having graduated with a bachelor degree in pharmaceutical science and achieving a specialist diploma in teaching and learning from NIE, I have been actively involved as an educator in the academic growth of students in both a government school (Nan Chiau High School) and private sector (CDAC, home tuition). I have tutored students of all academic backgrounds, ranging from Sengkang Secondary School, to the IP track in Nanyang Girls High, and have achieved an 85% distinction rate for the GCE 'O' Level. I'm also flexible in the platforms used to teach, be it online coaching (Zoom / Skype) to face-to-face sessions. With 9 years and counting of teaching experience, I'm sure that I'll be the right tutor and mentor for your child. 2020 results: Students scored A1 for Sec 4 IP Chem (Nanyang girls), Sec 2 IP Science (SCGS), S3 E/A Maths (Nan Chiau High School), Sec 2 Maths from Paya Leave Methodist Girls School (A1) and S1 Lower Secondary Science. 2 students scored A2 for Secondary 3 A maths. From 2014-2017, I privately tutored a Polytechnic student in Mathematics. He was on the Lee Kuan Yew scholarship as well as the Sng Yew Chong award winner, and managed to score a distinction for all his Mathematic modules (Engineering Mathematics and Applied Mathematics). From 2014-2016, I also privately tutored a Secondary 2 Normal Academic student in Mathematics and English. He rose from 58th in the level to become the top student in his cohort for the N levels. He scored A1 in both his Mathematics and English and graduated with an EMB3 score of 5. He was awarded the Top N Level Student Performer Award. While I specialise in Mathematics, I am also able to help in other topics if I have knowledge of it. I often help students with their essays and report writing as well.
