I am an MOE school teacher teaching maths for more than 12 years. Currently teaching in a SAP school, also taught at neighbourhood school before for my first posting. I am a flexible teacher who teaches with energy to engage students. I am patient to understand the challenges of students in maths and find ways to remediate them. Will motivate students to keep on striving for the best. I taught graduating classes. I add good value to my students in both lower secondary and graduating classes level. Most of my students perform higher by at least 2 grades compared to their previous year's results.

I have been teaching IB students from 2018. I have taught at both tuition centres and in my private capacity. I specialise in Humanities subjects, namely English Language & Literature, History and Economics. However, I am adaptable to teach other levels as well because the skills are easily transferable and applicable. The students I have taught have done exceedingly well in their exams, breaking through their previous limits. My proudest moment as a tutor was seeing my student, a Korean national, go from barely passing the SL English Language & Literature course in school to scoring 6 points in IB, a huge achievement for him considering that English was his second language. I consider myself a caring and flexible tutor who goes out of his way to help students. I am exam-oriented in my approach and I always try to relate what I teach towards how it can be used in an exam setting. Please reach out and we can work out an arrangement for you! I took the IB exam in 2017, where I received 7 points for all my HL subjects (English L&L, History and Economics). Currently, I am an undergraduate student at NUS Law, where I have been placed on the Dean's List (top 5% of students in the cohort).

I have taught my own daughter and she is in njc ip stream. Now she is in JC1. My other two students took the add maths paper last year and both scored A1 and A2 respectively. Kenneth scored A1 and he used to fail his school Maths paper. He is from Anderson secondary school. Currently I'm coaching his younger brother Keith. The other boy , Viyang, got an A2, he is from Chung Cheng school(yishun). I have taught multiple students sitting for the O levels.
