I have taught in Singapore MOE secondary schools for more than 10 years in O level/combined chemistry, thereafter I had been an IBDP/A level/IGCSE chemistry teacher overseas for more than 7 year. In 2017 Nov IBDP Chemistry exam, 21.4% of distinctions (‘7’), 35.7% of grade A(‘6’) and 21.4% of grade B(‘5’) were achieved. In July 2019, Extended Essay candidate managed a score of 30/34 in Biology. In Jan 2020, 4.1% managed distinction, 20.8% grade A and 37.5% grade B in IBDP first year semestral exam. In July 2020, 15.8% of distinction (‘7’) and 26.3% of grade A (‘6’) of IA candidates directly supervised by me were awarded by IBO. The learning outcomes of all of my tutees are as follows: In Jan 2022, an IB Chem tutee who enrolled only 4 months before the final exam scored a mark short for distinction. A H2 A level tutee showed an improvement of two grades from grade U after seven months in the A level results in Feb 2022. A comibined Sci (bio/chem) tutee improved from F9 to A2 within 6 months in Feb 2024. In 2023 July, three candidates scored 6 in IB Chemistry. Since last September I have been an online tutor.

2021: I specialise in secondary level math, chem and econs. I am currently tutoring 1 pri 4 science, 3 sec 2 math and 1 sec 2 science students, 1 sec 3 econs and 2 sec 4 chemistry students. I have been entrusted to 9 students thus far. I will provide my own materials and also go through school assignments if needed, tailoring each lesson to the needs of each students. They have shown improvement in understanding concepts in their test as compared to their previous standard, and can also catch up with school pace. Students can also ask me questions on WhatsApp anytime. Currently for chemistry, I have 2 students from Nan Chiau High School. They have obtained B3 & B4 in their recent mid years, currently pushing them further to get A for next exam. I am an undergraduate student. I have taken both IGCSEs (7a*) and IB (43/45). I have privately tutored few students in IGCSE and did volunteer tutoring at the primary level. I was an educator with MOE from 2011 to 2020. I taught Maths in Crescent Girls' School and Mayflower Secondary School. I always tailor my lessons to suit my student's learning needs. I provide my own resources for lessons. My students have always commented on my patient teaching approach. Most of my students have improved shown an improvement of at least 2 grades by their final examination. In 2021, one of my NA Level Math student improved from a single digit score at the start of the year to B3 for his preliminary exams. For the 2022 N level exams, 2 students out of 3 whom I tutored improved from U grade to a A and B grade. One of my O level student who failed her Maths during O Levels passed under my tutelage in 2022. I have also been giving private tuition to both Primary and Secondary students since 2003. I have been teaching A Maths for the past 10 years to my tutees. I am also a tutor with Stalford teaching E and A Maths. Currently, I am teaching classes of Sec 2 Express, Sec 3 Express and Sec 3 NA at Stalford. In addition to that, I am also giving private tuition to an O Level student, three N Level students and a Secondary 2 student.
