Hello! My name is Marcus and I'm 17 this year and I am currently studying at Ngee Ann Polytechnic pursuing a diploma in business. I want to become a part-time tuition teacher because I want to impart the values that my previous tuition teacher had on me to other students as well. During my PSLE period, I was very playful and maths was my most dreaded subject, however, my tuition teacher imparted values such as patience, responsibility and empathy which has had an everlasting impact on me. I interned at Aaron's Allstars which is a tuition centre in the West, I did not have many opportunities to teach, however, I had chances to see the other tutors teaching which helped. I scored an A2 for EMATHS for my 'o' levels and managed to pull my primary school math grade up from a "D" in prelims to an "B" for PSLE. I currently have a 3.5 GPA in Ngee Ann Polytechnic. I know that my grades are not that impressive and I have little to no teaching experience. However, I am an avid learner and students can learn from my past experiences as well as me learning from them too! I promise to give my 100% and the maximum effort to teach my students and impart values to them which will have an everlasting impact on them.

My name is Ashleigh Hearn and I just completed my IB exams in the november session with 43 points with 7 in English higher level. As I am waiting for university to begin, I realized I would like to teach and coach other students towards reaching a 7 in English. I loved doing textual analysis at school and my answers were often displayed as the model answer and I always got top for every assignment or exam which was always a 7. Often, I would always try my best to help my peers improve and share with them my tactics which I found really enjoyable. In the IB exam I scored 38/40 for paper 1 and 16/20 for HL essay and 34/40 for my oral. I am an outgoing person and feel I will be able to engage and coach your students. I have just graduated from Raffles Institution with an A in 2020's A Level examinations.
