I am teaching in Yuying Secondary school for more than 15 years. Home tutoring for 20 years plus. I teach Amaths and Emaths. All my maths tutees achieve at least A for Emaths and B4 and above for Amaths. All students improved but improve is largely based on individuals and effort they put in.

I have 2 years of tutoring experience with IB Biology SL/HL, Chemistry SL/HL and IGCSE Biology and Chemistry. I’ve taught 3 different students privately in all these subjects and saw grade increases from 4/5 to 7 for IB and C/B to A* for IGCSE. Two students were IB & IGCSE boys and one was a IB girl. My teaching methods mainly revolve around preparing dense and resourceful study materials collected from the best schools in Singapore. For instance, I merge ACS Independent materials with my own previous study materials from SJI and ACS international to help my students understand everything well. I also use visual drawings and funny acronyms to help my students understand concepts better. I also prepare 10 year past paper question banks for IB Biology and IB Chemistry, helping my students familiarise and gain the confidence to do the IB exam papers I also specialise in helping IBDP students edit their biology & chemistry IAs, as I have a passion to write and correct IA reports. My students’ IAs usually score 20+/24, as I teach my students the best way to format, structure, evaluate and reason in their science IAs.
