I have 7 years of tutoring experience in English and Science in primary and secondary school. I have experience teaching GP for about 2 years. The general trend that I see in my students grades is an improvement from D to A Provided 1-1 and group tuition under a volunteering programme from JC1 to JC2 to students aged 5-12 as well as from Y3 to Y4. Also taught secondary school O level and N level English Language. Patient and committed tutor and will cater my teaching style based on each individual's different learning styles. I will also do consistent research and provide up-to-date materials for the student.

In touch with the current IB syllabus for the subjects offered. Previously tutored juniors from my alma mater, helping them in E/A Math from B4 to A2. Will provide IA/coursework support (for the same subject) if required. Made study notes for my class. Some experience caring for individuals with cognitive disorders (eg. ADHD, mild ASD, mild dyslexia) in a professional setting.

I’m doing my practicum now in counselling and I can get my cert for my degree (SUSS) Im also a part time tutor (IQEQ centre) in a tuition centre. I’m also a full time supervisor/teacher in a primary school (Palm view Pri) setting for 6 years. I’ve been tutoring for 9 years. My students were mostly primary school. Usually students who have been referred to me are students who have been failing. My success rates are high when tuition is consistent and of course when students are able to be cooperative My students have improved tremendously. I've worked with students who have dyslexia or conditions like ADHD as well. I put my heart into teaching and i believe that I have the capability to get the student's attention to stay focused. I’m dedicated to my students and provide them with materials on my own accord, like exam papers. I ensure that I follow up with my students by topics. I’ll give them a test to ensure that they understand the topic well enough before moving on. I’m friendly towards my students. I make sure that they are able to connect with me so that they will not be afraid to voice out any questions. I encourage my students to ask me homework questions or questions relating to the subject, instead of them doing work during the tuition time or me just watching them to do work.
