I have 25 years of extensive teaching experiences, ranging from MOE Schools to Community Teaching Schemes to Private Tuition. I have taught from Primary 4 to JC2 levels, mainly in Mathematics, English and Business Modules. Currently I have been teaching Maths / EMaths at Sec 1 to 5 levels for the past 10 years (my preference). I taught at Kaizen learning centre from 2023-2024. I’ve taught students from HCJC, NJC & AJC. NJC student improved from C to A I have also taught underprivileged children as part of my volunteering project in 2022. Highest Qualification: Bachelor in Early Childhood School Attended: Monash University 3 years of tutoring experience, however more than 10 years of teaching preschoolers in a preschool. I taught English, Phonics and Math to different ages (ranging from 18 months to 6 years old) in my preschools. As a preschool educator, I've seen them progress from being unable to understand a single word to speaking in sentences and reading words, followed by sentences. I usually conduct lessons through hands-on activities as I believe children learn through hands-on. I usually conduct Phonics in an interactive way. I will start by teaching the children the sounds of each letter and its formation, and then move on to blending and segmenting words. I use Letterland book and cards as well as letters.
