I have 3 year experience teaching 9 secondary/JC students on various subjects. I have been teaching on Secondary school A Maths, E Maths, Chinese, Higher Chinese, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Combine Sciences JC1-2 H2 Maths.
For Chinese, I taught Sec 3 and 4 Chinese and Higher Chinese to local students and also mandarin for foreign students.

My students had significant improvement from fail to A/B grades in above subjects after having tuitions with me for 1-3 months.

I am trained in life coaching as well, hence as compared to ordinary tutors, I have additional advantage on communicating with students and find out their inspirations and work with them to have faster and more permanent improvement on studying and learning skills. I have one term experience private tuition experience with a primary 4 boy. His Math grade improved from a U grade to a D. Thereafter due to studies commitment, I have to end my tuition experience with him.

I also have a 2-weeks teaching experience in Don Bosco Technical School at Cambodia. In that 2 weeks, I taught them simple web design skills. By the end of the 2 weeks with them, they each had to design a website about themselves.

It is an enriching experience as most of them do not understand English, but through all the live demonstrations I provided for them, they managed to understand which tags does what and how to design a simple website on their own.

I believe in getting your hands dirty in learning. It is important to make mistakes along the way while learning. This way, students will be able to know their mistakes and flaws by heart and learn from the very mistakes that they commit and do a better job in the future.

I have one primary 4 student failing all her subjects marks were all below 20 and principal suggested her to retain but after tutoring her for 6 months, she managed to achieve all pass grade for her subjects (student suffering from dyslexia)

Another primary 2 student scored from 40 - 50 marks to 60 to 70 marks for all his subjects after coaching him for 5 months

Primary 6 student achieved from D to B for her PSLE English .

Currently I am also teaching children from age 5 to 6 (to prepare them for Pri 1) .
