I have been teaching full time since 2012. I teach mainly upper pri eng and math, and Sec emath. Students usually improve in their Paper 2 by more than 10 marks (some of course even more significantly higher) after at least half a year with me. I also taught a student with ADHD for Sec 4 maths. Recent secondary students: Rosyth Sec 3 this year: 76% Anglican High Sec 3 this year: 71% the rest are mainly neighbourhood schools like Maris Stella High school, Orchid Park etc, most of them scoring at least 75 (A1) For primary, I have students from tao nan and methodist girl school. Most of.my students improved. P1 and p2 there are no tests so can't comment. But I have a p6 who's always failing maths. Psle we were hoping she'll get C but surprisingly she got B. This student is from nan chiau pri. For p3, all improved after I taught them. I think these students don't pay attention in class but rely on tuition to help them. My students find it easy to develop rapport with me so they don't dislike tuition like some other students do.
