I have been teaching tuition for 4 years specialising in mathematics mostly. I have had about 3-4 students a year and have taught english, science as well as maths from primary to o levels. I am most keen in teaching add maths to upper secondary students!

I have also been a relief teacher and was assigned to teach normal technical class for 6 months and continue to be called to do adhoc teaching in primary schools around by vicinity.

Teaching is my passion and I enjoy giving private tuition than a classroom setting because I can provide full attention on the student. I am a believer of ensuring the child does his or her best and will go all the way out to ensure just that :)

My teaching style caters to each student's ability but generally I will always teach the topic in summary, do prac questions with them and then give them questions to do independently while I observe and finally homework to supplement all that has been taught. Above that, I give topical tests and practice papers to prepare them for the exams!

I am a youth counselor with a non-profit organization. Over the years being trained under this non-profit organization I have the experience needed to cater the learning progression to the individual student.
Tutoring 3yrs experience. Students are primary 6 and sec 3 level, from assumption english school and north view primary school. I have also given 1 and 2 week creative thinking english classes to tuiton center, catered for holiday program.

I excel in the areas of English due to the nature of being in an English educated family and years of interaction with international students.

I used to be rowdy and unable to focus on studies, I flunked my PSLE. So I was put into the Normal Academic Stream in Secondary 1. Only to excel to the top 5% of my cohort and enter the Express stream in Secondary 2. I understand the Secondary 'Normal' streams well. And I am able to reach students, to draw out an interest from them to score in their subjects.

I have 3months experience teaching 2 O level girls math, physics, chem and they will be taking their O level in 2013. Her grades especially math have improved as soon from her monthly school assignment.
