I am currently waiting for enrollment into SIM. My stronger subjects are the humanities (Social Studies, History) and language (Both English and Chinese). Besides that, I am also an experienced performer in the piano and chinese flute for more than 10 years. I have obtained an ABRSM Grade 8 (With merit) certificate in Piano practical, NAFA Grade 9 in the Chinese Flute and Grade 6 (With merit) certificate in Music Theory. I have also taken up Higher Music at the O levels, attaining an A2 with Distinction in Music Performance. I used to teach a Sec 4 student Social Studies, and the student was graded A1 for his Combined Humanities I have also taught another N level student Hist/S.S and he scored B3 I been teaching social studies since 2012. Have also taught English as well. Both subjects were at both N and O levels. Results wise, generally they improved from a fail grade to B3 to A1 I am a patient person, and thus I feel that I will be able to help out weaker students who may face difficulty in picking up the subject's foundations. I am committed to students and I will always draw out a lesson plan before the lesson begins.

I help my younger brother with his secondary school work so I am familiar with their syllabus. I believe my patience in teaching will aid the student tremendously as I myself have found patient teachers/tutors to be the the easiest to approach, and hence most comfortable in asking for help. This I believe is the most important value to have in a teacher hence I strive to embody that particular trait when teaching.
