am in the best position to empathise with all the students who come to me for help because I myself wasnt a model student even while I was in school back then. But I was lucky as I had a n tutor who wasnt passionate with what he was teaching and would always be more than willing to answer my queries despite the fact that it was something that was relevant to my exams. Hence, when I grew up I told myself that I wanted to be the kind of tutor that others will remember. Hence, when I started my first tuition assignment instead of buying more assignment books for my student to work on, I took time to understand her needs and her learning style. In that way, tuition would no longer seem boring as I would ensure that the pace and material covered matches her learning style. In that way, she would be able to build a stronger foundation. Soon, she found that she could handle maths better than she taught and it was encouraging to see that she could challenging questions without any prompts from me.

Full time tutor specialising in English. Have taught students in preschool, primary, secondary (MOE syllabus) as well as international and IB students. I also teach foreign adults who are taking English as a 2nd language, taking their IELTS. Currently focusing on upper primary & sec /international students. I also have experience teaching kids with dyslexia. I have taught students fully online as well, taking their PSLE, O lvls and IGCSE. Online classes will be done with a mixture of physical (taken by photo) and online notes, with screen sharing optional. Student results: my students have all shown tremendous improvement, better understanding & interest of their subjects.
