Currently volunteering at a centre aimed at helping migrant students (pri to jc level) intergrate into Singapore’s education system while tutoring part time at the same time including two P6 math and science students, two Sec1 math science and one sec4 E/A math student. They have shown improvement of 2-3 grades within 3months. My teaching methodology is as such If a student needs assistance with specific chapters, my approach focuses on diving into those topics first, offering detailed notes and relevant questions to enhance their understanding. Alternatively, if they require broader support, I tailor sessions in tandem with their school’s curriculum to strengthen their weaker areas. As exams approach, I prioritize revisiting tested chapters and reviewing exam paper to ensure comprehensive preparation.

Despite the casual and irregular nature of this experience, it provided me with a foundational understanding of student engagement and knowledge transfer.
