I taught Chinese in Pre-school for 2 months in year 2011. In year 2012, I did relief teaching in Foon Yew 5 Primary School for 2 months, subjects taught are Chinese, Malay, Mathematics, Music and Moral Education.

I am currently an NIE Trainee Teacher in National Institute of Education, Nanyang Technological University (NIE, NTU), taking the Bachelors of Arts in Education, specializing in Chinese. Experience
I am a pre-school teacher, specialized in early childhood education with 18 years of experiences. During these years of service, I have a wealth of experience in handling students and classroom management.
Besides working as a full time pre-school teacher, I have 10 years of experiences as a part time tutor for the pre-schooler and lower primary students. I specialized in Mathematics and have the skills to impart the concepts in a fun and hands-on tactics. This allowed the students to enjoy and remembered Mathematical concepts in a fun way. The students were able to show improvement in their subject.

Besides Mathematics, I am able to teach English as a subject to the pre-schoolers and lower primary students. From my past experiences, many of these students were able to pick up good reading and listening skills. They were able to comprehend and understand the books that they have read and were able to communicate effectively.
