I have 4 years experience with Upper Secondary and JC Econs Math and Chemistry. Have been taking up to 6 assignments weekly in the previous year. For the past 2 years, I have been concentrating on group tuition as well. I've taught over ten students before. Generally I have been successful with raising grades by an average of two if I have taught at least 6 months with them.

I teach answering techniques as well as study techniques. I am very result-oriented, and I set reasonable expectations for my students, ensuring that they appreciate stress as a motivator and not a depressor. I believe that self-learning is still the most important and lessons serve greatly to facilitate and guide their individual revision. I tend to communicate with the parents a lot as well as they are usually a key factor in the students' education.

Before I enrolled in NTU in August 2012, I was teaching enrichment programs in various primary schools around Singapore. These enrichment programs are taught in classroom-based settings. I have also taught a primary 3 student English and Math during 2012. She improved from failing to getting Bs and Cs for her final examinations. I am currently teaching a PSLE student since 2013 and his grades have improved from failing to getting Bs and As.

I have been giving tuition since 2012, although I focus mainly on upper primary (P5 and P6). I'm currently teaching a Sec 2 girl English, Math and Science (I had 1 year experience teaching her Sec 1). She's from Evergreen Secondary School

In addition, I am a qualified early childhood educator with a Diploma in Early Childhood Care & Education. I go the extra mile for my students and am 100% dedicated to helping them as I really want them to succeed & progress. My lessons include hands-on activities & games apart from written work. I create my own teaching materials & do my best to make the lesson fun, interesting & engaging. I have been able to enable a new K1 child whom I have taken on to decode and read simple sentences in 3 months.
