I am teaching Maths and Arts and Maris Stella Pri school I am registered with MOE as an Art instructor and taught in Secondary schools as Visual Art teacher in 2013. I also home tutored Secondary students from SJI, St Andrews and Hong Wen Sec school, mainly in chinese math & accounting. I am tasked to conduct Accounting / Art lesson for Sec 2 and Sec 3 to gain teaching exposure and experience in Punggol & Deyi Secondary from Aug 2013. I will constantly modify my lesson to suit the needs of academically weaker students. I will conduct the lesson with great enthusiasm and influence every student to find joy in the process of learning. Furthermore, I will squeeze in jokes in my creative teaching to lighten the stressfulness for upcoming examination. As such, I believe their confidence and logical thinking will gradually built up. I was teaching at Tanjong Katong Secondary school for about 5 years, covering English, Geog and Social Studies.

I have experience tutoring the students who were weak in English in one way or another, I am able to assess the areas that students need intervention in, especially grammar and vocabulary as the foundation to the other examination skills.
I have especially been effective in coaching students who are weak in English/learning English as a foreign language as I have improved their grades often from a fail to at least a pass or a good pass within less than a year. I also have experience preparing students for the O Levels, with 2 out 5 students scoring As for the O Levels, improvement from their grades of Cs at the beginning of Sec 4.

My name is Chong Wei Boon and I am graduated from Nanyang Technology University this year and currently I work as full time teacher in Smartlab Tuition Centre. I am teaching JC students from VJC and NYJC.

During my work as tutor in the tuition centre during this school holiday, I got saw student in my class feel sleepy and less focus. Then I will ask her to stay back after lesson and individual guidance her regarding her problem. Then I will give her help to more understand in chemistry subject and ask her to take minimum 2 hours per week to revise. For my opinion as a tutor not only teaching, but also need to care about students' problem in study so that as tutor I can personal sharing with student so in lesson will not feel boring.
