I taught in De Lasalle Pri and Yew Tee primary schools. Teaching experience of 15 years. Been a Private Tutor for 11 years. In the classroom, I focused on engaging the students through a variety of pedagogies that included Polya Four-Stage Model, The CPA approach for Maths and empirical techniques to teach science. After working as an educator in the mainstream schools, I switched to teaching individual students on a one to one basis as I wanted to be able to teach beyond the constraints of a school environment. Over the years, I have had the opportunity to work with students in the age group of 9 to 18 having differing abilities and interests. I have focused on teaching English, Maths and Science-based subjects. Apart from teaching the core subjects of English, Maths, and Science. I was also the debate coach of the school. I am teaching in a tuition centre for PSLE classes whose students are 80+ and pushing for A*. There are from Jurong Primary to Henry Park Primary schools. In home tuition, my students were from Bukit Panjang Govt high and SJI Int'l school, both Sec 3. For IGCSE, I taught students from UWC and OFS. I am also teaching in Mendaki tuition programs at various schools. Also taught in Sinda for 3 years tutoring students from difficult backgrounds.

I am teaching Maths and Arts and Maris Stella Pri school I am registered with MOE as an Art instructor and taught in Secondary schools as Visual Art teacher in 2013. I also home tutored Secondary students from SJI, St Andrews and Hong Wen Sec school, mainly in chinese math & accounting. I am tasked to conduct Accounting / Art lesson for Sec 2 and Sec 3 to gain teaching exposure and experience in Punggol & Deyi Secondary from Aug 2013. I will constantly modify my lesson to suit the needs of academically weaker students. I will conduct the lesson with great enthusiasm and influence every student to find joy in the process of learning. Furthermore, I will squeeze in jokes in my creative teaching to lighten the stressfulness for upcoming examination. As such, I believe their confidence and logical thinking will gradually built up. In this way, my students will be able to apply different strategy to solve academic problem and be an independent visual learner eventually.
