I'm was a software engineer by profession. During my leisure I have taken tutions for primary school children. I am very passionate in tutoring young kids who are unable to grasp subjects in their classrooms. As for my previous experience, the children loved my way of teaching as I teach them simple and easy ways to remember their lessons and thus have proven effective results in their respective tests.

I am teaching in FLAiR programme which stands for Focused Language Assistance in Reading. It involves engaging Para-educational professionals (Pro-FLAiRs) to provide focused assistance to this group of children for about 35 weeks. It is an initiative started by the MOE in 2006 to help K2 children with difficulties in learning English. I have also been giving 1-1 tuition to a mildly autistic boy for 2 years K2-P1. I am proficient in Mandarin -Focus on a group of four to six K2-children per session who have been identified for FLAiR Program -Observe children’strengths and weaknesses -Customize educational activities to meet each child’needs -Evaluate and document children’progress for submission three times a year Taught Read to Reach (RTR) for 3 years at NTUC My First School. An in-house program on learning to read through Phonics by Dr Alice Tang.
